Ushers are liturgical ministers assuring the comfort of the assembly in the worship space. The usher’s primary focus is to greet parishioners and guests, making them feel comfortable and welcome. In addition to assisting with collections and distributions of bulletins, ushers ensure that the church is left in order from one Mass to the next. They handle emergency situations with courage and composure and always carry themselves with dignity as the assembly gathers for Eucharistic celebration.
