The Lunar New Year is one of the parish's major fundraisers. It features an evening of eating a delicious seven course meal, silent and live auctions, and excellent entertainment. Volunteers are always needed to make the TET Lunar New Year a success. Come and experience the workings of St. Francis de Sales faith community! 
The parish annual TET Lunar New Year by the Vietnamese Ministry will be February 4, 2024.

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

As we stand on the threshold of the Lunar New Year of 2024, the Year of the Dragon, our pastor, Father Joseph Son Thanh Phan and the Vietnamese community at St. Francis de Sales Church would like to wish you and your family a prosperous, good health and blessed New Year.

We would like to invite you to join us in our celebration of 2024 Lunar New Year Banquet:
Date & Time: February 4th, 2024 at 5 P.M.
Place: Kim Son Restaurant 10603 Bellaire Blvd, Houston TX 77072

The banquet program will include seven course meal, dragon dancing, received red envelope from our pastor, songs sung by priests and others.  This year, special guests will join us in our New Year celebration, the well known music artists, Don Ho & Lilyan, along with other music artists in Houston.

This is an opportunity for all of us come together to share and experience the festive of TET spirit that will be created by Kim Son restaurant through their wonderful decors.  Please place your reservation as soon as possible to allow us to organize and make the proper accommodations for everyone’s enjoyment.
