1. Pie contest entrance is free whether you are attending the Crawfish Boil or not.

2. At least two of the same pie (for each entrant) must be baked; one for the judges and one for general consumption.  Each person can only submit one entry for the contest.

3. Submissions for the contest can be "sweet" or "savory" but must be actual pies. Other types of desserts (cakes/cookies, etc.) will be gladly accepted but will not be entered in the contest. They will be sold as desserts at the pie table.

4. Please register what type of pie you are bringing on the website when you purchase a ticket, and bring a label that identifies what kind of pie it is to display with your pies.  If you are not purchasing a ticket, please email Cathy Rotter at cathrotter@aol.com and let her know your name and what kind of pie you are entering. 

5. Plates, napkins, and plastic forks will be provided. Plastic serving utensils will also be provided. Entrants are encouraged to bring their pies in a disposable container and not bring any utensils from home.

6. Pies should be delivered between 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm at the pie table. Judging will begin at 6:00 pm. Pies will be served to the public once the judges have received their samples.

7. Each pie will be assigned a number upon entry. Judging is anonymous and the winning pies will be identified by number and type of pie only.  Each entrant/family can only win one prize.

8. Pies will be judged on:

   • Taste - 50 points

   • Presentation - 50 points
